救命胴衣は、総トン数２０㌧以上の船舶に搭載するもので、国際条約によりその性能要件が決まっています。NS-08型及びNS-09型は胸囲1750mmの方に対応しておりますので、延長ベルト等は必要ありません。又、NS-08-C型は国内唯一の子供用と幼児用・兼用型の救命胴衣（小児用）です。
The vessels over 20 tons have a duty to load lifejackets and their conditions
of capacities are defined by International Convention for the Safety of
Life at Sea. NS-08 & NS-09 lifejackets are designed to fit persons
with a chest girth of up to 1750mm without the need for additional items
or extensions.NS-08-C is the only kind of lifejacket which is designed
to fit both child & infant in one model..
